THE 3RD MBSSKL CHESS OPEN AND FAMILY DAY
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Laki-Laki Methodist Kuala Lumpur, MBSSKL is organizing The 3rd Chess Open following the success of The Largest Chess Tournament last year where we achieved a measure of success by making it into the Malaysia Guiness Book of World Records as the school with the highest numbers of chess players at one time. Applications are now open, and interested individuals and parties may now register using the entry form found at the link below. This year’s event is on a more modest scale and we expect 200 participants.
Attractive prizes are offered for all categories and entries from schools are encouraged. Those who wish to sponsor in cash and kind please contact the school at the numbers listed below.

Objectives:
- To promote RACIAL INTEGRATION in line with RIMUP, Ministry of Education.
- To forge bonds with other schools.
- To foster ties with the community.

Date: 5 July 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 9.00 a.m – 6.00 p.m
Registration: 8.00 a.m – 9.00 a.m
Number of participants: 200 participants
