MBSSKL is Champs in Project Based Learning Competiton

On the 13th and 14th November 2008, Methodist Boys’ Secondary School Kuala Lumpur sent a team of five fourth formers to represent the school in the state level Project Based Learning competition. They were John Kow Wen Jun, Eric Khong Mun Kit, Ho Weixing, Lim Kar Wee and Chin Kok Siong. This competition was formed as a benchmark for ICT development within schools. The format of the competition was based on each team’s presentation.
Only three schools were chosen for the Primary and Secondary category respectively. The secondary representatives were MBSSKL, Victoria Institution and SMK Pemaisuri. Each presentation was accompanied by artifacts to show what each project was about. MBSSKL emerged as the champion in the Secondary Category while SK Seri Bintang Selatan was the Primary champion.
The whole project has enabled the team to not just improve their computer skills but also master a number of soft skills like leadership and teamwork.
