MBSSKL Rules (Again) in Spelling

Again MBSSKL boys emerged as KL champions in the RHB Spelling Contest in both the team and the individual events for 2009. With 26 top and premier schools like VI, Convent Bukit Nanas, Sekolah Aminuddin Baki and Sekolah Bintang Selatan taking part, the school still managed to clinch the title. Team work and diligence had contributed to this win. The team was represented by Liew Ern Khai, Quah Zhong Yan, Samuel Ong and Lim Kar Wee. The individual title was bagged by Liew Ern Khai, after a nail biting win over a very talented Form 1 boy from SMK Taman Maluri. Ern Khai was also last year’s KL Champion. Both titles carry cash prizes of RM2000, certificates and trophies. The school’s effort in excelling in co-academic areas of English has bore fruits as shown by this win the second time around. English Language is a niche area of the school as a Cluster School of Excellence.
