Astounding PMR Results For 2009
Once again MBSSKL performed extremely well in the PMR results for 2009. There are a number of astounding facts in this year’s results:
(a) The percentage of straight As was 37.38%, the highest in the history of MBSSKL
(b) Nearly half of the students scored 7As or 8As (maximum being 8As), the best so far.
(c) The percentage of As for Bahasa Melayu, English, Science, Mathematics, History and Geography were also at the historical best.
Nearly 80% of the 206 students scored As for English. The school’s average grade at 1.64 was nevertheless the 2nd best in the history of MBSSKL; the best was 1.62 in 2006. MBSSKL maintains its position as one of the top 10 best schools in KL and the astounding results enabled it to receive two awards from the State Education Department: (a) Outstanding Controlled or Full Boarding School (b) Third best in terms of percentage of straight As.
