MBS Boy is MSSMKL Sportsman of the Year; 2 Other Boys Also Honoured

Ian James Barr, the superb national trainee swimmer was voted as the MSSMKL (Majilis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia, KL) Sportsman of the Year for 2009. It was indeed a proud day for the 15 year old who had a series of accomplishments even before he joined MBSSKL. His recent outing at the international level was the 31st SEA Age Group Championship in Bangkok last year. He grabbed the Best Swimmer Award at the MSSM in 2009. But sadly MBS will miss him as he has enrolled in the Bukit Jalil Sports School where he will be given the best guidance and training for his future competitions. The other two MBS boys who were honoured are our Chess Prodigy Yeap Eng Chiam and a new Form 1 boy Tan Wei Hao who is also a national age group chess player. Go Forward MBS.
