Intake of Students For Form 1 in 2012 Under the Niche Areas of MBSSKL

As a Cluster School of Excellence, MBSSKL has given the autonomy to choose 21 students (10% of its full quota of 210 students) for Form 1 since 2009. These students will be picked based on their ability in one the three niche areas of the school: ICT, English Language and Chess. The circular and application form for the 2012 intake have been sent to all primary schools in Kuala Lumpur. The closing date for submission of the application form is 1 day after the release of the UPSR results for 2011. The circular and application form are also available at the school office. Some Proud Moments

Three MBSSKL students, third formers Albert Ang Keliang, Marcus Tay and fourth former Liew Tuck Onn made the school proud by obtaining High Distinctions for Science in the University of New South Wales International Competition and Assessment for Schools held recently, pitting them in the top 1% in the nation. In another international competition, a Form 1 boy Benjamin Khoo obtained a credible merit award in the International Maths Olympiad held in Indonesia recently. Congratulations to the students and a big thank you to the teachers who have contributed to these proud moments.
