Those who are joining the SpeedTyping Competition please hand up the Application Form to any I.T. Brigadier in Multimedia Lab 2.

It is of utmost importance that all preparations are done during the March 2009 holidays. Here is a background on what members have to do during the holidays. All jobs will be split into departments and committee members, as follow:

1. Participation Department- Please prepare sample participation forms for each of the competitions held during the IT week. The forms must be sent to Ryan Teh (DL) via rthk93@hotmail.com for check.
2. Prize Giving Department- Please prepare the prizes, which will be given out during the IT Week. The gifts must be bought during the holidays. When the gifts are bought please notify Chong Chee Wing (DL/Treasurer) via bccw2damax8@hotmail.com
3. Designing Department- Please prepare a design of the IT Week notice board using either Microsoft PowerPoint, Paint or any software related. When designs are done please notify Sam Wai Kit (DL/ACO) or Hong Aan Lee, Daniel (CO) via danielhong93@hotmail.com
4. Competition Department- Please volunteer yourselves to become judges/hosts of the competition held during IT Week. When decided on a competition to judge/host, please notify Kriskkumar (DL) via kriskkumar_1993@hotmail.com and he will prepare any relevant information needed.
5. Secretary and Assistant Secretary- Tan Li Yin and Narash Kumar will make minutes from all reports from every department. DLs please be sure to inform them immediately when all tasks are completed.
6. Chief Organizer and Assistant Chief Organizer- Hong Aan Lee, Daniel and Sam Wai Kit must receive updates from the DLs and 2 secretaries during the holidays for final evaluation.

All tasks MUST be completed before 21st March 2009 (Saturday) and all DLs must report to the 2 secretaries on 21st March 2009 (Saturday). On 22nd March 2009 (Sunday), the CO and ACO will do final evaluation upon all reports received by the 2 secretaries. Secretaries must send their minutes to the CO and ACO on 22nd March 2009 (Sunday). A meeting will be held on 23rd March 2009 (Monday) for distribution of work during IT Week. Attendance for that meeting is compulsory and absentees will receive heavy punishments. Thank you.
