After discussing with the Executive Committees, teacher advisors and Mr.Chin, we have finally came into a conclusion on how should we utilize the RM 1000 IT voucher that we won last year for the best school website designing.

Our previous president, Madam Thoong Kit Yee, and our previous vice-president, Master Benny Tham Chew Hol had done a great job updating and sorting out our website. It takes a great deal of time and effort manage this web and keep it up-to-date. Of course, credits will be given for their sincere contribution to our club’s development.

First of all, we would buy the previous Executive committee board each a 4GB pendrive, and the webmasters, Madame Thoong Kit Yee and Master Benny Tham Chew Hol would recieve a 8GB pendrive instead of a 4GB one. This is because they are the 2 webmasters that had been designing, updating, decoration, managing and improving this website.

As for the extra money, we would buy IT accessories, and items that can be used as prizes for winner for the coming Musical Instrument Competition 2010 and MBS Idol 2010.

Of course, we would also but some pendrives, if possible, for selected club members that we think had contributed a fair amount of effort in our club if we have the budget to. And last but not least, go forward MBS =]

Sorry for the delays of the United Nation’s Certificate. Our teacher advisor, Encik Firdaus is acknowledge that the certificate will not be arriving soon. We’re sorry for the delayings caused but the United Nation have their own reason for this.

The reason they’re giving is that they need the print the certificate once for all for all three functions/performances that they host. One of the function will be going on this February, which means that the certificate would arrive, earliest at Mid-February.

We promise that we will give out the certificates as soon as possible as it wont benefit us for delaying your certificates. We hope that you can understand our hardship and sorry for the inconvenience cause. And last but not least, go forward MBS =]

All Music and Choir Members who are involved with the choir performance on the coming tuesday (27 October 2009), in the renaissance hotel, you’re reminded to wear school uniform on tuesday, during the day of performance to school.

However, you’re required to bring along a black long pants, pair of black shoe and a white shirt (make sure that it’s white, plain and short sleeved. If you want to wear a long sleeved shirt, remember to fold it up during the performance)

If you have not got a copy of the song lyrics, please do collect a copy from Liew Zhen Yi from class 4 K.

To all Music and Choir members, including the form 5s and the upper 6s retired members, please kindly pass a copy of your photostated coco-card to Lim Zheng Kang or Liew Zhen Yi from 4 kensett.

Coco-marks may not be given or may be deducted if members fail to hand in the card on time.

Members are also required to update their coco-cards. All members who took part in the “Pertandingan Koir Zon Bangsar” in SMK Seri Mutiara, you’re required to write it down in your coco-cards under the “Penglibatan dan Pencapaian” section. Thank You.

As we all know, the Music and Choir club had won the best school blog award this Monday. I would like to congratulate our club and at the same time, show our gratitude to the club’s x-webmaster, Thoong Kit Yee for her endless effort in updating and maintaining our club’s blog.

The prize we have won is a RM 1200 IT products voucher. During the annual general meeting, many people had suggested many ways on how should we use the IT products voucher. Members are welcomed to leave your comment on how we should we utilize the RM 1200 IT products voucher.
